I am an indigene of Zamfara State and an accomplished obstetrician and gynecologist who is passionate about improving maternal health and serving humanity. After earning my medical degree from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, I obtained my fellowship as an obstetrician and Gynaecologist from the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in 2020. I was appointed as a consultant at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in 2021.
I have gained extensive experience over 15 years of practice in obstetrics and gynecology since I started residency in 2009. She has been actively involved in clinical practice, research, medical outreach, and administrative roles in the hospital.

I obtained my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria, in 2005. I later obtained my MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2013. I obtained my fellowship from both the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria in 2020.
